Gasomiz D capsules is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux) & indigestion by relieving the symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation by neutralizing the acid in the stomach and promoting easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort. It is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor for the duration recommended .Most common side effects are temporary like diarrhoea, flatulence, stomach pain, dryness in mouth, and headache and usually resolve with time. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding, liver and renal diseases. Long-term use can cause weak bones, mineral deficiency like magnesium, fundic gland polyps. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor.
